M2503 – DUAL APERTURE LONGITUDINAL WAVE DPC TRANSDUCER ARRAY
Low-frequency dual ultrasonic transducer array for pulse-echo ultrasonic testing of concrete structures by means of shear-horizontal ultrasonic waves.
DESCRIPTION
A general-purpose low-frequency transducer array with the nominal frequency of 50 KHz for the dry-point-contact (DPC) pulse-echo transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves in highly scattering materials (concrete, wood, stones etc.) by means of dual-aperture arrangement.
Two independent groups of 3 x 4 elements perform transmitting and receiving of longitudinal ultrasonic waves and allow deep penetration and reduced dead zone of ultrasonic testing.
The transducer can be driven by following ACS instruments:
• A1560 Sonic-LF
• A1220 MONOLITH
